Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, combine buttermilk, egg, melted butter, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and lemon juice.

Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each mold about 2/3 full.
