Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownie Bombs

Ingredients:

🍪 Edible Cookie Dough:

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1¼ cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated*)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup mini chocolate chips

🍫 Brownie Layer:

  • 1 box fudge brownie mix, baked as directed and cooled
    (or use homemade brownies — make sure they’re super fudgy, not cakey)

🍫 Chocolate Coating:

  • 2 cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips (or candy melts)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (optional, for smoother melting)
  • Optional: Sprinkles, sea salt, or white chocolate drizzle for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Make the Edible Cookie Dough:

  • In a large bowl, beat butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
  • Mix in milk and vanilla.
  • Add heat-treated flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
  • Stir in mini chocolate chips.
  • Roll dough into small balls (about 1-inch). Place on a parchment-lined tray and chill in freezer for 15–20 minutes.

🔥 To heat-treat flour (make it safe to eat): microwave for 1–2 minutes or bake at 350°F for 5–6 minutes, then cool.
